The About the Blog section—and really the whole Homepage—is in the process of being reconstructed and updated. Thank you for your patience.
I will say though, that this blog is not about me being the “right” kind of writer, or, the epitome of writerism pretend with me that’s a real word. I don’t even believe there is one identifiable persona for the good writer. This blog is vaguely about the journey I’m on to become a good writer, and in some ways, a good, or godly, person. It’s not a lonely journey—I’d love for you to join me!
You know what, maybe that will be my About the Blog manifesto thing.
About the Ads
I guess WordPress wanted a little bit more cash in their pocket so they instituted a new advertisement feature last year. It’s a grid of three to nine third-party sponsored content post images, which you’ll find at the end of every WordPress post.
I’ve contacted them about this and though they assured me they thoroughly filter out any inappropriate content, their standards are evidently different than mine and possibly yours, so be wary. I wish I could remove them, but that’s only possible through a paid plan.
Just wanted to let you all know and give you a fair warning.
